Evenings in Maeen District Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: Maeen District in the capital Sana'a hosted celebratory evenings on Saturday marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad. Residents of several neighborhoods organized the events, which featured cultural and religious programs reflecting joy and celebration of the occasion.

According to Yemen News Agency, the evenings drew wide official and popular participation, including Oil and Minerals Ministry Undersecretary Nasser Al-Aji, Assistant Secretary-General of the Capital Sana'a for Administrative Units Sami Sharaf Al-Din, neighborhood affairs officials, security officials, community leaders, cultural activists, sheikhs, local dignitaries, and social figures.

The celebrations featured speeches and various activities expressing love, loyalty, and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing adherence to his teachings and noble life. Speakers highlighted the importance of commemorating the occasion to recall the Prophet's life, values, and principles, while promoting brotherhood, mercy, solidarity, cooperation, and benevolence within society and strengthening faith-based identity.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to following the Prophet's path and the guidance of the Holy Quran, describing them as sources of dignity, strength, and liberation from the domination of forces of tyranny and arrogance.
