Event Celebrates Mawlid al-Nabawi at Bajil’s Education Faculty

Bajil: The Faculty of Education, Applied and Technical Sciences, along with the Continuing Education Center in Bajil District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, hosted a commemorative speech event today in honor of Mawlid al-Nabawi, marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Ahmed Mathkur, Dean of the Faculty and the Center, highlighted the significance of observing Mawlid al-Nabawi. He stressed that the occasion is a time to derive inspiration from the Prophet's life, embodying the virtues of mercy, solidarity, and compassion that he exemplified. Dr. Mathkur also emphasized the importance of recalling the Prophet's principles and his struggle against disbelief and arrogance.

Dr. Mathkur further noted that celebrating this occasion reflects the Yemeni people's deep connection to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It serves to enhance their understanding of his teachings, principles, and morals, particularly in light of current regional events and developments. This year's celebration underscores the necessity of adhering to the values and principles championed by the Prophet in standing for truth and opposing injustice.

The event was highlighted by poetic recitations and the honoring of several service workers and faculty staff. This gesture was an expression of gratitude for their contributions and a reinforcement of the Prophet's advocated values of mercy and solidarity.
