Sana'a: The local authority, in coordination with mobilization authorities in Arhab District of Sana'a Governorate, organized a speech event on Tuesday marking the National Day of Resilience. During the event, attended by the Deputy Governor Fadl Al-Qasir, the district director Khaled Al-Aqeeda noted that commemorating the occasion reflects the spirit of unity among all segments of society and affirms cohesion in facing challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, he emphasized the continued resilience of the district's residents, particularly under the current circumstances that require intensified efforts to strengthen steadfastness in confronting forces of domination and arrogance led by the United States and Israel. He also stressed the need to focus on development and service sectors to alleviate citizens' suffering.
For his part, the Deputy Head of Mobilization in the district, Katheer Al-Obaidi, praised the honorable stance of Arhab's residents in confronting aggression over the past 11 years, affirming continued mobilization, high readiness, and preparedness for the next phase of confrontation.
Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Allama Taha Al-Hadari, described the National Day of Resilience as a pivotal milestone in the life of the Yemeni people, restoring the meaning of sovereignty and national dignity, reinforcing principles of steadfastness amid complex regional and international conditions.
He added that entering the 12th year of confrontation reflects an advanced level of comprehensive national resilience, grounded in awareness, faith, and patience in facing global hegemonic forces. Al-Hadari further explained that societal awareness represents a fundamental pillar in confronting challenges and thwarting enemy plans, noting that these challenges have been broken in the face of Yemeni resilience and their belief in the justice of their cause.
