Event in Arhab District, Sana’a, Celebrating Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: The local authority and the General Mobilization, in coordination with the branch of the General Authority for Zakat in Arhab District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a central celebratory event commemorating the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures, including directors of the Tribal Affairs Authority branch in the governorate, Walid Fanbour and Khalid Al-Aqida, mobilization officials Salim Qanbour and Abdul Jalil Awad, and the director of the Zakat Authority in the district, Muhammad Al-Dheeb. Khalid Al-Sharafi, who oversees the Sharia Sciences and Quranic Generation schools in the governorate, highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. He pointed out its role in guiding humanity from ignorance to the light of Islam and in establishing values of justice, equality, and love within the nation.

Al-Sharafi explained that the celebration of the Prophet's birth is an opportunity to remember his life and learn from it. He described the anniversary as an educational, mobilizing, and faith-based occasion to draw lessons and inspiration from the mercy bestowed upon humanity. He urged people to strive in the path of jihad, viewing it as a route to the nation's glory and a means to counter conspiracies against it.

Al-Sharafi also emphasized that celebrating this occasion reflects the Prophet's esteemed place in the hearts of Yemenis and their commitment to following his path in confronting aggression and reinforcing their resilience. The event included poetry recitations and was attended by the Deputy Director of Mobilization, Kathir al-Ubaidi, Tribal Reconciliation Committee member Hisham Radman, and several social figures.
