Al-mahwit: Ismail Sharaf al-Din, the mobilization officer for Al-Mahwit Governorate, inaugurated today at the College of Applied and Human Sciences in Shibam Kawkaban District, a photo exhibition showcasing smuggled Yemeni artifacts offered in international auctions, as well as photographs documenting aspects of social life in Yemen some seventy years ago.
According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition included photographs of artifacts that appeared in international auctions, and of archaeological and historical landmarks and sites. These images reflect a facet of Yemen's rich cultural and civilizational heritage, highlighting the historical sites and landmarks of Al-Mahwit Governorate and its districts. This exhibition underscores the deep-rooted history of Yemeni civilization.
