Expanded Educational Meeting Focuses on Challenges and Improvements in Taiz

Shar'ab al-salam: An expanded educational meeting was held on Sunday in the Shar'ab al-Salam District, Taiz Governorate, chaired by the First Deputy Governor and Head of Public Mobilization, Mohammed al-Khalidi. The meeting discussed ways to improve performance, needs, difficulties, and challenges facing the education sector.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor al-Khalidi praised the resilience and steadfastness of the educational sector, emphasizing the importance of holding the meeting concurrently with the start of the new academic year. He stressed the necessity for everyone to recognize their religious and national responsibility in raising generations with faith and equipped with knowledge, enabling them to confront enemies.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Governorate's Education Office, Mohammed Al-Dhaibani, pointed to the need to redouble efforts to improve the educational process, correct all shortcomings, and activate various activities and events to align with the curriculum and religious and national occasions. He also addressed the issue of soft warfare and its dangers to children and youth, emphasizing the need to protect them from it and cultivate awareness and insight.

For his part, the Director of Education for the Directorate, Humair al-Bahiri, reviewed the achievements of the education sector over the past years, highlighting the advanced rankings the Directorate has attained in academic performance, activities, and competitions. He emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to overcome difficulties and obstacles and provide the necessary resources, within available means, to ensure the success of the educational process.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of the Governorate Education Office, Ali al-Maghles, the Director of Educational Media, Ahmed al-Hudhaifi, department heads, supervisors, and school principals.
