Al-zaydiyah: The Health Care Association for Affected Communities is set to launch a free medical camp for eye surgeries on Monday in the Al-Zaydiyah District of Hodeidah Governorate. This initiative is organized to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, this will be the 79th camp organized by the association, scheduled to take place from Rabi' al-Awwal 25 to 29 at Al-Zaydiyah Rural Hospital. The camp is made possible with funding from the General Authority for Zakat and is conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Health, Environment, and its Hodeidah office.
The camp aims to provide medical examinations and perform 250 cataract-removal surgeries, focusing on assisting low-income patients. This effort seeks to alleviate their suffering while promoting social solidarity and support for the most vulnerable members of the community.
