Sana'a: A women's rally organized by the General Mobilization Authority in the capital Sana'a brought together families of martyrs, wounded, imprisoned, and frontline personnel, with participants declaring their continued mobilization and support until the aggression and blockade are lifted.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rally, organized by the Women's Authority of the General Mobilization's "Sacrificing Families Unit," was held under the slogan, "Readiness and Mobilization Until the Aggression and Blockade Are Lifted." Participants reaffirmed their commitment to following the path of those killed in the conflict and remaining steadfast until victory is achieved.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of strengthening public awareness in confronting "soft war," drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of those killed, wounded, imprisoned, and serving on the frontlines. They called for continued mobilization and support for the Houthi leadership until the conflict and blockade are brought to an end.
A statement issued at the rally condemned ongoing U.S. and Israeli aggression against the Islamic nation, including Israel's military campaign in Gaza and the continued conflict and blockade affecting Yemen. It described these actions as part of a broader project targeting the region's identity, religion, sovereignty, and resources.
The statement further noted that, despite years of conflict and blockade, the Yemeni people have become more steadfast in the path of jihad and resistance. The sacrifices of those killed, wounded, imprisoned, and serving on the frontlines have helped preserve Yemen's sovereignty and frustrate the plans of its adversaries.
Participants also reaffirmed their support for Houthi leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and pledged to implement the guidance contained in his speech marking the Islamic New Year, which they regard as the appropriate course for confronting forces of global arrogance.
The statement praised the resilience of families affected by the conflict, highlighting their sacrifices as enduring examples of patience and perseverance. It also emphasized the continued role of Yemeni women in promoting religious and national values, citing Zaynab bint Ali as a model of endurance, and called for raising future generations to defend the country and the wider Muslim community.
