Farih: US Veto Highlights Involvement in Gaza Conflict

General

Sanaa: Farih, a member of the Ansar Allah Political Bureau, stated that the United States' veto against a UN Security Council resolution aimed at ending the genocide in Gaza underscores its role as a key participant in the ongoing conflict. The resolution called for lifting restrictions on aid and the blockade, but the US veto suggests its continued support for actions in Gaza.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Farih commented that the US's actions reveal a contradiction between its public advocacy for freedom and justice and its involvement in the Gaza situation. He criticized the US for providing political and diplomatic backing to Israel, which he argues grants legal cover for ongoing crimes. Al-Farih also highlighted the military support the US provides to Israel, including lethal weapons and bombs, suggesting that without this support, the violence might cease.

Al-Farih criticized the Security Council's inaction over the past two years, suggesting it has failed to uphold justice and security. He accused the council of merely serving as a platform for advancing American interests, legitimizing crimes, and protecting perpetrators. He urged people to recognize that liberation from Zionist and American influence cannot be achieved through these institutions.

He called for practical actions, urging solidarity with Gaza and advocating for treating Americans and Israelis as adversaries, emphasizing the need for responsibility and action rather than reliance on international decisions.
