Sana'a: The Women's Preparatory Committee for the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday celebrations in Sana'a, in collaboration with the Higher Committee for Summer Activities, Courses, and the Education Sector, organized the first annual scout parade for female students from Sana'a schools in celebration of the Prophet's Birthday. The event gathered activity coordinators, participating school principals, scout leaders, and nearly 2,000 girl scouts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the parade was a display of discipline and enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of scouting and educational activities among female students in Sana'a schools. Buthaina Al-Mansour, Director of Student Activities at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research and head of the Girls' Scout Activities Department, stated that the parade was a part of preparations for the central Prophet's Birthday celebration. It aimed to cultivate love, loyalty, and attachment to Prophet Muhammad and his family among the students.
Al-Mansour emphasized the extensive participation of girl scouts, which showcased their strong engagement with the occasion. She underscored that student activities create an important educational environment for developing responsible and disciplined personalities while promoting teamwork, responsibility, and a sense of belonging. Furthermore, Al-Mansour mentioned that the parade is part of a series of activities organized by Sana'a schools ahead of the central celebration. These activities highlight the role of Yemeni girls in commemorating the occasion and renewing their commitment to the teachings and example of the Prophet.
