Sana'a: Gold prices rose on Tuesday as investors awaited the US Federal Reserve's annual symposium this week for clues on potential interest rate cuts. Spot gold increased by 0.2% to reach $3,337.5 per ounce, while December gold futures marked a modest rise of 0.1% to $3,381.80 per ounce.

According to Yemen News Agency, the movements in the gold market come amid broader market anticipation surrounding the Federal Reserve's meeting in Jackson Hole. Investors are keenly observing for any indications from the Fed regarding future monetary policy, especially the possibility of interest rate adjustments.

In the realm of other precious metals, the market exhibited mixed trends. Spot silver experienced a decline of 0.5%, settling at $37.82 per ounce. Platinum, on the other hand, saw a slight increase, rising 0.1% to $1,323.76 per ounce. Meanwhile, palladium prices fell by 0.9%, landing at $1,112.34 per ounce.
