Dhamar: The Security Directorate of Dhamar Governorate organized a cultural event today commemorating the anniversary of the Battle of Badr and the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (may God honor his face).
According to Yemen News Agency, the Governor of Dhamar, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, highlighted the importance of remembering the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr and the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) during a critical period for the nation. He remarked on the ongoing conflict led by America and the Zionist entity against Iran, describing it as a broader war targeting the entire nation. This conflict, he explained, aims to dismantle the Axis of Resistance to facilitate the implementation of the "Greater Israel" scheme.
Al-Bukhaiti encouraged the audience to draw inspiration from the life of Imam Ali, to emulate his jihad, embody his virtues and ethics, and follow his path. He also emphasized the importance of learning from Imam Ali's covenant to Malik al-Ashtar.
He noted that Dhamar Governorate has made progress in various areas, particularly in security, despite limited resources. He called for continued efforts to achieve further successes.
