Gold Prices Rise, Headed for Weekly Gains

Sana'a: Gold prices rose slightly on Friday and are on track for weekly gains as concerns about inflation and rising interest rates eased. Spot gold rose 0.3% to $4,700.80 per ounce by 00:59 GMT. Gold has gained 1.9% so far this week. U.S. gold futures for June delivery settled at $4,709.90. According to Yemen News Agency, other precious metals also saw increases. Spot silver rose 0.8% to $79.10 per ounce, platinum climbed 0.5% to $2,032.70, and palladium edged up 0.1% to $1,482.50.
