Hadhramout: Governor Luqman Baras has condemned the ongoing humanitarian crisis impacting Hadhramout, Aden, and other occupied provinces, attributing the dire situation to the Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition. These regions are suffering from continuous power outages and extreme heat, compounded by a lack of basic services.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Baras described the tragic scenes of Aden residents resorting to sleeping in the streets to escape the stifling heat as a testament to the severe hardships imposed by occupation policies. He criticized the Saudi-Emirati coalition, along with their supporters-the US, Britain, and Israel-for the worsening economic and living conditions in these areas.
Governor Baras also condemned a violent incident in Sayun, where the aggressors' actions led to the death of Munaf Basbaeen during protests against the declining quality of life. He argued that such acts of violence are part of a deliberate strategy to suppress citizens' rights and discourage them from demanding improvements.
Baras further highlighted the exploitation of Hadhramout's resources by the coalition forces, emphasizing the lack of reciprocation in terms of service provision to the local populace. He stressed that the end of this suffering hinges on the withdrawal of occupying forces from Yemeni soil.
The Governor called on the residents of Hadhramout and other affected regions to band together and resist the Saudi and Emirati presence, urging for a popular uprising to reclaim their resources and restore dignity to their lives. He emphasized that only through collective action can the region overcome its current crises and honor the sacrifices of those who have lost their lives.
