Hadramout: Governor Luqman Baras announced the support and endorsement of the governorate leadership, local authority, and executive office in response to the call of Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. This declaration follows al-Houthi's historic statement on the anniversary of the Prophet's Hijra in 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Baras confirmed their readiness and serious preparedness to implement directives aimed at strengthening unity, consolidating ranks, and confronting forces of aggression and occupation. These directives also focus on reclaiming rights and ending the actions of the Saudi-Emirati coalition, which is supported by the United States, Israel, and Britain, in exploiting national resources.
Governor Baras described the Leader's call as a comprehensive roadmap for progress, internal cohesion, and steadfastness against enemies. He emphasized that the call is timely, as Yemen faces significant challenges and conspiracies from powerful adversaries targeting the nation and the region.
The Governor highlighted the significance of the Revolution Leader's call coinciding with the Hijra anniversary, a milestone inspiring values of sacrifice and steadfastness. He urged everyone to recognize their religious and national responsibilities in the ongoing struggle for liberation and independence, and to support the leadership in thwarting colonial schemes against Yemen, particularly in Hadramout.
Governor Baras renewed his call for unity among the people of Hadramout and other governorates, advocating for a national front to expel occupiers and free Yemen from foreign influences. He affirmed that increasing public awareness in the southern and eastern governorates will counter enemy conspiracies and ensure the full restoration of sovereignty over Yemeni territory.
