Hajjah: Hajjah province undersecretary Mohammed al-Qadhi reviewed on Tuesday the progress of work at the Hajjah Electricity Zone. During the visit, al-Qadhi received a briefing from the zone's management on operational performance, measures being taken to meet the electricity needs of the governorate's districts, the challenges facing the sector, and possible solutions to overcome them.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Qadhi was also informed about plans to expand the subscriber base and the possibility of extending electricity services to new areas across the governorate's districts. Al-Qadhi praised the efforts of the electricity zone's management in providing services to residents and in working to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply. He affirmed the governorate leadership's readiness to help address obstacles affecting service delivery.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination with the local branch of the Yemen Oil Company to secure adequate diesel fuel supplies needed for operating electricity generators. The visit focused on evaluating current operations and exploring ways to enhance electricity services and expand access to power for communities throughout Hajjah Governorate.
