Hajjah: The tribes of Kushar, Washhah, Mustaba, Bakeel Al Meer, and Qarah districts in Hajjah province have declared their readiness and mobilization to end the aggression and blockade during a large armed tribal gathering held on Wednesday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tribes affirmed their response to the call of Ansarullah leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, expressing readiness to fight to "liberate Yemeni territories" and recover national resources they claim have been looted. The gathering, attended by Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi, Local Council Secretary-General Ismail Al-Muhaim, and Deputy Mobilization Officials Abdullah Shayem and Mohammed Al-Naami, stressed preparedness to retaliate against Saudi Arabia, which they accused of causing harm to Yemenis.
The tribes renewed their commitment to making sacrifices in response to what they described as more than 11 years of aggression, attacks on houses and facilities, blockade, occupation of parts of the country, and the plundering of Yemen's resources. The tribal crowds announced raising their level of preparedness to confront what they called the forces of aggression and occupation, emphasizing their unity behind the revolutionary leadership and continued efforts to defend national rights and resources.
Governor Al-Sufi praised the tribes of Kushar, Washhah, Mustaba, Bakeel Al Meer, and Qarah, describing their stance as a continuation of their sacrifices in defending Yemen's land, honor, and sovereignty. He stated that their mobilization was a declaration of readiness rather than a display of force. Deputy Mobilization Official Shayem also commended the tribes' steadfastness and response to the leadership's call for mobilization, noting that the Yemeni tribes had chosen the path of "dignity, freedom, and honor."
Tribal leader Sheikh Khalid Al-Qadhi affirmed the tribes' readiness to continue confronting Saudi Arabia and its allies until, as he stated, "Yemen is freed from invaders, occupiers, and national resources are restored." He called for strengthening unity and cooperation with the armed forces to confront any attempts to destabilize security and social cohesion.
A statement issued by the gathering, read by Sheikh Hizam Masoud, expressed support for statements by the armed forces and the revolutionary leader on the occasion of the new Hijri year. It also reaffirmed support for Yemen's missile, naval, air, and drone forces, pledged continued mobilization, and the opening of training centers for military preparedness programs. The statement also expressed appreciation for Iran's support, highlighting the arrival of an Iranian aircraft at Sana'a International Airport as a move that broke what they described as the Saudi blockade on Yemen. It reiterated support for Gaza and the principle of "unity of fronts."
The tribes announced the continuation of general mobilization across various fields and readiness to implement measures announced by Abdulmalik Al-Houthi to end the aggression and lift the blockade.
