Sana'a: Hazm Hays crowned Champions of 'Glorious Victories' Football Cup
Hazm Hays won the 'Glorious Victories' Football Cup for youth teams, organized by the Hodeidah Youth and Sports Office under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the local authority in Hays District. Hazm Hays claimed the title after defeating Ittihad Hays on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final at Hays City Stadium.
According to Yemen News Agency, following the match, attended by local officials, sports and social figures and a large crowd, Hazm Hays received the championship trophy, while Ittihad Hays was awarded the runners-up trophy. Outstanding players were also presented with gold medals.
Participants praised the achievements and the courage of the Yemeni armed forces, stressing that the task of liberating the homeland extends beyond military efforts to include all segments of society, including youth and athletes. The Hodeidah Youth and Sports Office has also provided sports equipment to several clubs and local teams in the liberated districts and plans to organize further sports activities targeting youth and athletes.
