Health Office & Al-Rawda Hospital Commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday in Bani al-Harith

Sana'a: The Health and Environment Office and Al-Rawda Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Bani al-Harith District organized a celebratory event to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event saw attendance from notable figures, including Shura Council members Adel al-Hunbusi, Mujahid al-Na'ami, and Ahmed al-Alie. During the event, Dr. Mutahar al-Marouni, Director of the Capital's Health Office, highlighted the anniversary as an opportunity to reinforce the bonds of love and reverence towards the Prophet. He emphasized the significance of the commemoration in reminding the Muslim community of the honor associated with the Prophet's mission, urging health workers to embody the values of compassion and kindness.

Dr. al-Marouni also praised the leadership and staff of Al-Rawda Hospital for their continuous efforts to enhance healthcare services and facilities. He acknowledged the hospital's initiatives in introducing modern medical equipment to address growing healthcare demands.

Hussein Hazeb, a member of the General Committee of the General People's Congress, spoke on the importance of the Prophet's birthday in strengthening Yemenis' connection to the Prophet's teachings. He addressed the challenges posed by hostile campaigns against these celebrations and called for unity in addressing such issues.

Additionally, Hamad bin Rakan, Director of Bani al-Harith District, emphasized the importance of the occasion as a moment to reflect on the Prophet's exemplary qualities and renew commitment to his teachings. He encouraged wide participation in upcoming celebrations to honor the Prophet.

The event featured various speeches, poems, and nasheed performances, expressing joy and reverence for the occasion. Attendees included directors from Al-Rawda, Al-Sabeen, and Palestine Hospitals, along with health leaders and staff.

Later, Shura Council member al-Hunbusi and Dr. al-Marouni visited Al-Rawda Hospital's newly equipped laboratory and physiotherapy department. The hospital director provided updates on departmental developments and ongoing service improvements for patients.
