Hodeida: Hodeida University and Al-Bayda University have entered into a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration in academic, educational, and research domains to support higher education initiatives. The agreement, signed by Hodeida University Rector Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal and Al-Bayda University Rector Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, seeks to expand academic partnerships and promote cooperation in scientific research, postgraduate studies, training, and development programs.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Ahdal highlighted the importance of the agreement in aligning with Hodeida University's strategic objectives, which focus on strengthening academic and cultural ties among Yemeni universities. The agreement aims to enhance coordination in education, scientific research, and community service, ultimately improving the quality of academic outcomes. Dr. Al-Ahdal also emphasized that the agreement supports institutional development and fosters greater integration among higher education institutions, aligning with the university's development goals.
Dr. Al-Arami expressed appreciation for Hodeida University's ongoing academic and scientific contributions. He stressed the significance of the agreement in creating an institutional framework for cooperation, which includes a joint action plan covering academic affairs, postgraduate studies, scientific research, training, and cultural and development programs.
The collaboration also involves faculty and expertise exchanges, scientific research initiatives, postgraduate education, academic affairs, and the organization of conferences, seminars, and training programs. These efforts are intended to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions and advance the quality of university education.
