Ibb University Concludes Summer Center with Ceremony and Protest

Sanaa: University on Wednesday organized a closing ceremony for its summer center for employees' children in Ibb, followed by a protest condemning repeated insults to the Quran and expressing solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon.

According to Yemen News Agency, the summer program, held under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad,' trained 50 students in academic, cultural, and creative skills under the supervision of the university's student activities department. University officials praised the program's success in developing students' abilities and strengthening their values and awareness.

After the ceremony, participants held a protest in the Faculty of Medicine yard condemning repeated insults to Islamic sanctities and expressing support for the Palestinian cause. A statement issued during the event denounced the reported burning of the Quran by an American extremist and condemned ongoing violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The statement reaffirmed support for Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran, and called for continued economic boycotts and awareness campaigns against what it described as ideological threats targeting the Islamic world.
