Sa'ada: The Undersecretary of Sa'ada Governorate for Media and Culture, Ali Al-Dhaheri, and the Director of Al-Jumhuri Hospital Authority in Sa'ada, Dr. Ismail Al-Warfi, have inaugurated the free therapeutic and surgical 'Al-Shahid Al-Qaed' medical camp at Munabbih Rural Hospital. This event took place in the border district of Munabbih.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp is organized by the Ministry of Public Health and Environment, represented by the General Administration of Medical Camps. It is a collaborative effort with the Sa'ada Republican Hospital Authority, coordinated with the Border Guard leadership and the Governorate Health Office. The camp aims to provide a range of medical services over three days, including general surgery such as inguinal hernia operations, hemorrhoid treatment, and removal of fatty cysts. Additionally, it offers diagnostic and therapeutic services in general internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics.
During the inauguration, Al-Dhaheri, Al-Warfi, the Deputy Director of the Governorate Health Office, Dr. Abdulghani Farieh, and the Director of Munabbih District, Jaber Al-Doushi, inspected the clinics and departments. They assessed the level of preparations and the services provided by the camp across its various sections. The officials commended the initiative by the Ministry of Public Health and Environment and the Sa'ada Republican Hospital Authority for their role in reducing the burden on citizens who struggle with the costs of treatment and travel to the governorate center for medical care and surgeries.
