Injured Foundation Initiates Food and Medical Aid Distribution in Sana’a

Sana'a: The Injured Foundation launched on Tuesday in the capital Sana'a the distribution of food baskets, medicines, and medical supplies to a number of injured individuals, medical centers, and hospitals, at a cost of 17 million riyals, as part of its health and humanitarian programs for the injured.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Mohammed al-Hamzi, Director of the Pharmaceutical Department at the Injured Veterans Foundation, affirmed that the Foundation strives to provide high-quality social and economic care, with support from the General Authority for Zakat and several pharmaceutical companies, to ensure a dignified life for the injured in recognition of their sacrifices for God and the honor and dignity of the nation.

He pointed out that these projects and programs reflect the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership to care for the injured. Al-Hamzi called upon businessmen and the affluent to recognize their responsibility towards the injured, especially given the circumstances the country is experiencing due to the aggression and blockade. He commended the contributions of all those who support this project and all the Foundation's projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of the injured.

In his address on behalf of the beneficiaries, Dr. Wajih al-Wajih commended the foundation's outstanding efforts in caring for the wounded, expressing his appreciation for the support of the Zakat Authority and all donors for their concern for the injured.
