Gaza: The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine affirmed today that the escalating crimes and the ongoing genocide war in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank reveal the true face of the fascist Israeli enemy, which practices organized terrorism alongside its settler gangs that spread killing, corruption, burning, and destruction in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
According to Yemen News Agency, the movement condemned, in a statement by its Political Bureau member Ali Abu Shahin, the targeting and destruction of a water desalination plant in Gaza City by Zionist enemy aircraft. This condemnation also extended to the demolition of several homes and agricultural and industrial structures in the Jordan Valley, the burning of a factory north of Ramallah, and the unleashing of Zionist settlers to carry out a series of escalating attacks against Palestinian citizens and their lands.
Abu Shahin stated that these actions are part of a continued genocide war against the people of the Gaza Strip and an escalation of crimes against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, targeting all means of life and steadfastness. He emphasized that these crimes will only strengthen the resolve and resilience of the Palestinian people, asserting that the Israeli enemy will not succeed in displacing them or making them a pawn in political maneuvers.
He further urged the international community, human rights organizations, and all active Arab and Islamic parties to take a serious and decisive stance against the Israeli enemy's actions. He called on countries that sponsored and signed the ceasefire agreement in Gaza to prevent the Zionist enemy government from undermining efforts to consolidate and implement the agreement by halting the ongoing genocide war and stopping the enemy's attacks and violations.
Abu Shahin held the Israeli entity fully responsible for its ongoing crimes in Gaza and the West Bank. He affirmed that Palestinian people will continue to confront all schemes of killing and displacement and will exert every effort to strengthen their steadfastness and solidarity, despite the genocide war and the abuses they face.
