According to Yemen News Agency, the Nikkei index fell by 1.8% to 50,356.47 points approximately 12 minutes into trading. Additionally, the broader Topix index saw a reduction of 1%, settling at 3,348.11 points. AI-related company stocks were at the forefront of these declines, with notable decreases in stock prices.
SoftBank Group shares experienced a significant drop of 6.7%, while Advantest, a company specializing in chip-testing equipment, saw its shares decline by 3.8%.
