Tokyo: Japanese stocks rose on Monday morning in trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index climbed 878.15 points, or 1.65 percent, to 54,001.64 points in the morning session. According to Yemen News Agency, the broader Topix index also rose 33.37 points, or 0.92 percent, to 3,678.56 points.
