Ibb:A joint field campaign has been initiated in Ibb Governorate to regulate the prices and weights of bread. The initiative aims to ensure that bakeries and retailers comply with official pricing and that the flour extraction rate, set at 86 percent, meets the standard specifications approved by the Ministry of Economy and Industry.

According to Yemen News Agency, the campaign involves the Executive Unit for Financing Agricultural and Fisheries Projects, the Bunyan Development Foundation, and the Value Chains Program under the Ministry of Agriculture. These organizations are collaborating to enhance field oversight of bakeries, ovens, and retail outlets.

The campaign's focus is on strengthening regulation and compliance to maintain fair pricing and quality standards in bread production and sales within the governorate.
