Al hodeida: Under the patronage of Al Hodeidah's First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Beshri, and the Director of the Education Sector in the governorate, Omar Bahr, the School Furniture Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project was officially launched today. This comes after the restoration of a maintenance workshop that had been out of service for a decade due to being targeted during the aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, the previously destroyed facility has been fully restored and equipped with modern production lines and machinery. The workshop will now manufacture and repair school desks to meet the needs of schools across the governorate. The project aims to resolve the shortage of school furniture and provide a suitable learning environment for students.
Ahmed Al-Beshri praised the efforts of engineers and technicians in reviving the workshop, stressing that this step strengthens educational infrastructure and aligns with the local authority's priorities to support education. Omar Bahr expressed gratitude for the local government's funding, confirming that the workshop will fully cover the demand for school desks in all of Al Hodeidah's schools.
