Magnitude 2.9 Earthquake Recorded Northwest of Hammam Ali in Dhamar

Dhamar: Seismological stations recorded a light earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale northwest of Hammam Ali in Dhamar Governorate. The tremor was detected at 12:31 a.m., approximately 11 kilometers northwest of Hammam Ali in Al-Manar District.

According to Yemen News Agency, Mohammed Al-Houthi, head of the Earthquakes and Volcanoes Monitoring and Study Center, stated that the earthquake struck at a depth of two kilometers. This shallow depth caused the tremor to be felt by residents in the surrounding area.
