According to Yemen News Agency, the match at Al-Wahda Stadium saw 22 May assert their dominance early on, defeating Fath Dhamar 2-0. Captain Aref Thabet led the way with a remarkable header, igniting the crowd and giving his team a lead that held through the first half. Despite a crowd scuffle that nearly escalated, the game remained competitive with both teams attacking fiercely. Abdeljalil Nejad's goal in the second half secured the victory for 22 May, ensuring their stay in the Second Division.
In another crucial match, Shaab Sana'a confirmed their survival with a resounding 5-1 victory over Ahli Al-Hodeidah. Capitalizing on their opponents' disorganized lineup, Shaab's young players dominated the game. Hamed Waheed scored twice, while captain Alaa Awsha, Omar Rashad, and Mohammed Al-Dahi also added to the tally.
