Ibb: Ibb University held on Monday an expanded meeting of the committees responsible for organizing, mobilizing, and receiving participants for the central event marking the Prophet Mohammed's birthday anniversary for the year 1448 AH. The meeting focused on reviewing the final arrangements for the central event, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, Rabi' al-Awwal 12, 1448 AH, at the Prophet's Square on the university campus.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants reviewed the tasks assigned to the committees, as well as the roles of participating public and private universities, colleges, and institutes. They also identified their designated locations within the sectors and designated areas of the Prophet's Square, discussing mechanisms for organizing reception, guidance, and support services.
At the meeting, University President Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili stressed the need to complete all organizational arrangements in accordance with a unified plan and to integrate the efforts of the various participating committees and entities to ensure the smooth running of the event and the proper reception of incoming crowds. He urged all concerned to adhere to their assigned duties, arrive early at their work locations, respond effectively to any developments that may arise during the event, and ensure coordination among the organizational, health, medical, guidance, and service committees.
Dr. Al-Hujaili also called for drawing on Ibb University's accumulated experience in hosting major central events in previous years, while maintaining continuous communication and coordination with the supervisory committee to address any issues and overcome difficulties as they arise. He called on university staff and the relevant committees to set an exemplary standard in organization and reception that reflects a high level of responsibility and awareness, embodying the significance and importance of the occasion among members of society.
He affirmed that the success of the event is a collective responsibility requiring discipline, continuous coordination, and teamwork. Dr. Al-Hujaili commended the efforts made by university staff and the Coordination Council of Public and Private Universities, Colleges, and Institutes in the governorate in ensuring the success of previous events.
