The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects thunderstorms of varying intensity to continue in most governorates during the next 24 hours. The center reported in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that heavy thunderstorms are expected, accompanied by hail and descending winds, in parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale'e, Lahj, Al-Bayda, Abyan, Shabwa, Al-Jawf, Marib, Tihama Plain and the western coasts. Scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity are likely to fall in parts of the governorates of Al-Mahrah, Hadramaut and the southern coasts. According to the center, the amount of rain that fell during the past 24 hours and was measured at some meteorological monitoring stations in Dhamar was 47 mm, Ad Dali: 26.5, Raymah: 20.6, Taiz: 15.2, Ibb: 15, Al Mahrah: 8.9, Saada: 7.1 mm.
