Meteorology Forecasts Strong Winds, Rough Seas Over Southern and Eastern Coasts

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast winds over the southern and eastern coasts and the Gulf of Aden, leading to rough seas during the next 24 hours. According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center predicts moderate winds along the southern and eastern coasts and strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago and the Gulf of Aden, with speeds ranging between 20 and 40 knots. The center warned sea-goers to follow the instructions of the Coast Guard Authority, avoid swimming in undesignated areas, and ensure the presence of a professional lifeguard near the beach, especially for children and beginners. The center also warned fishermen and ship captains around the Socotra Archipelago and in the Gulf of Aden of rough seas and high waves.
