Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms over parts of several governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that scattered thunderstorms are expected over parts of the governorates of Taiz, Al Dhalea, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Saada, western Sana'a, the highlands of Lahj and Abyan, and the Tihama Plain.
The center has warned citizens in the areas expected to receive rainfall of potential flash floods in valleys and watercourses. It has advised residents to avoid being in the paths of these floods and to seek shelter from thunderstorms.
