Sana’a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning forecast varying and scattered thundery rainfall over a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center anticipates varying-intensity thundery rainfall over the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, and Al-Dhalea, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain.

Scattered rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunder, is likely over the highlands of the governorates of Al-Mahrah, Hadramout, Shabwah, Abyan, Al-Bayda, Lahj, Sana’a, Amran, and Saada, as well as parts of the eastern and western coasts.

The center warned citizens against being in ravines, valleys, and flood channels during and after rainfall, and advised drivers not to cross ground-level bridges during floods.

It also warned of thundery rainfall and reduced horizontal visibility due to rainfall and the formation of fog on roads and mountain slopes, and advised following safety measures.
