Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah participated in an expanded meeting held at the Capital Sana'a, focusing on reviewing the outcomes of the inventory phase at the Capital's headquarters and executive offices.
According to Yemen News Agency, Miftah congratulated the inventory committees and officials for completing the inventory phase, highlighting its significance in facilitating the planning of future projects. He emphasized the need for a thorough inventory of all assets and resources and the preparation of a supplementary inventory if necessary. Miftah stressed the importance of expediting the evaluation process to enhance local and community institutional work.
Miftah reiterated the necessity for the Capital to serve as a model of performance and management, particularly in terms of interaction with leadership directives. He called for ending a culture of frustration and maximizing available resources for change, construction, and development. The Acting Prime Minister urged the integration of official and public efforts to support development and the expansion of community initiatives, using the celebration of the Prophet's birthday as an exemplary model of harmonious activity between institutions and the community.
Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled al-Hawali, explained that committees have been operational for over a year and a half, nearing the completion of the inventory process and the implementation of mergers in several ministries. The process is now focusing on local government, with the Capital Governorate as the first model. The inventory committees have completed their work at the Governorate headquarters and sectors, with only central branches remaining.
Minister al-Hawali described three main tracks: "Inventory and Reporting, Regulation Preparation, and Implementation," with the Capital Governorate in the first analysis phase. This phase will guide the merger process and serve as a foundational document for implementation. The integration process, initiated at the central level, will extend to governorates and ministry branches, with Capital Sana'a's commitment being pivotal.
Fahd al-Azzi, Acting Director of the Prime Minister's Office, emphasized the importance of accurate data collection and its role as a benchmark for other governorates. He stressed cooperation between leadership and census teams to achieve integration and restructuring goals, urging completion before the Prophet's Birthday celebrations.
Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Ubad, confirmed the completion of census work at the Governorate headquarters, with only central branches pending. The local authority is prepared to provide necessary resources for the census's success across all districts.
Taha Zabara, head of the inventory committees, reviewed completed and pending tasks, as well as the submission of inventory forms for the Secretariat's directorates.
The meeting was attended by various officials and committee heads, reflecting a collective commitment to the inventory process and the advancement of the Capital.
