Sanaa: Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mohammed Al-Najjar, led a field inspection on Sunday to supervise safety evaluation teams at various oil and gas stations in the capital. The visit is part of the ministry's initiative to enhance field oversight and ensure adherence to security and safety standards.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Najjar highlighted the importance of strengthening safety measures to safeguard lives, workers, and property. The Ministry of Oil is enforcing necessary technical improvements for stations that do not meet national standards.
The inspections, carried out with support from specialists at the Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC), aim to cultivate a culture of occupational safety and boost performance efficiency within the sector. The field teams have confirmed that evaluations are progressing as planned to ensure all stations comply with the regulatory requirements.
