Sana'a: The Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qaheem engaged in discussions with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Services Sector Major General Mohammed Al-Hakem and the Head of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority Brigadier General Hussein Aziz. The meeting aimed to explore areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Status Authority.
According to Yemen News Agency, the session, also attended by Deputy Head of the Civil Status Authority Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Hamzi, saw Minister Qaheem emphasizing the ministry's intent to enhance collaboration with the authority. This collaboration aims to utilize available resources effectively, benefiting the public interest and citizens alike.
Minister Qaheem commended the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority for its service delivery to citizens and its ongoing efforts to enhance performance amidst challenging national circumstances. He highlighted that service simplification and facilitation remain a priority for the Government of Change and Construction.
Furthermore, Minister Qaheem indicated that the Ministry of Transport and Public Works is committed to executing specific service-oriented tasks for the authority. Major General Al-Hakem acknowledged the ministry's cooperative endeavors, anticipating future project implementations.
Brigadier General Hussein Aziz reiterated the authority's dedication to refining and developing its services, ensuring that citizens can access them efficiently.
The meeting concluded with Minister Qaheem and Major General Al-Hakem touring the authority's operations, reviewing modern equipment, and assessing ongoing service improvement initiatives to expedite transaction processing for citizens.
