Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) closed Monday's session at 4,743.06 points, marking an increase of 3 points or 0.06% from the previous closing figure of 4,740.05 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value saw a decline, dropping to 11.42 million Omani rials, which is an 8.1% decrease compared to the previous session's trading value of 12.43 million rials. Despite this drop in trading value, the market capitalization showed a minor increase of 0.027%, reaching approximately 28.98 billion Omani rials.
Non-Omani investors were active in the market, with purchases totaling 608,000 rials, accounting for 5.33% of the overall trading. On the other hand, non-Omani sales amounted to 442,000 rials, representing 3.87% of the total sales. The net foreign investment saw an increase of 167,000 rials, which indicates a 1.46% rise.
