Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed Tuesday at 5691.17 points, marking an increase of 27.9 points or 0.49 percent compared to the previous trading session’s close of 5663.32 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached 57,640,700 Omani rials, reflecting a 5 percent rise compared to the previous session’s 54,895,017 Omani rials. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted that the market capitalization experienced a rise of 0.249 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 31.76 billion Omani rials.
The report also noted non-Omani purchases on the stock exchange amounted to 3.13 million Omani rials, which constituted 5.43 percent of the trading volume, while non-Omani sales amounted to 5.628 million Omani rials, or 9.76 percent. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment saw a decrease of 2.498 million Omani rials, representing a drop of 4.33 percent.
