Sana'a: The National Women's Committee has issued a strong condemnation against what it describes as the Zionist enemy's targeting of civilian facilities in Yemen's capital, Sana'a, and the Al-Jawf governorate. Among the affected sites were the headquarters of the newspapers 26 September and Al-Yemn.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee's statement described these actions as blatant violations of Yemen's sovereignty and international laws, adding these incidents to what they consider the Zionist enemy's bloody and brutal record. The committee argues that the attacks represent ongoing aggression and an unjust siege imposed on the Palestinian people.
The statement goes on to describe the attack as an unsuccessful attempt to pressure the Yemeni people, aiming to deter them from supporting the Palestinian cause. It also criticizes the effort to silence independent media in Yemen. The committee asserts that these actions are a gross violation of Yemen's sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as a breach of the UN Charter and international law.
Moreover, the committee reiterated that such aggression would only strengthen the resolve of the Yemeni people and army to support the people of Gaza. They denounced what they called the shameful silence and complicity of Arab nations in the face of ongoing acts of violence against the people of Gaza.
The statement also warned that the silence and neutrality of Arab peoples and armies could lead to divine retribution. It urged action, calling on the Arab and Islamic nations to aid Gaza by delivering food, water, and medicine, and to stand with its fighters.
Finally, the National Women's Committee appealed to the Arab and Islamic nations to take decisive and active measures to confront what they term as Zionist arrogance, aiming to thwart conspiracies targeting the region and its sanctities.
