Amran: The second Governorates Olympic Shooting Championship for youth, juniors, and cadets concluded in Amran, featuring rifle and pistol competitions.
According to Yemen News Agency, the three-day event was organized by the General Shooting Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and funded by the Youth and Sports Welfare Fund. It brought together 60 participants from various provinces to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
Officials praised the competition's participation and technical level. They stressed the importance of holding local championships to identify and develop young shooting talent and expand the sport's base nationwide.
The tournament concluded with the winners receiving trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes.
