Parks, Gardens in Capital Sanaa Receive Two Million Visitors During Six Days of Eid al-Adha

Sanaa: Public parks and gardens in the Capital S received approximately two million visitors during the six days of the blessed Eid al-Adha. The Director of Parks in the Secretariat, Rami Al-Jundi, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that 66 parks and gardens in the districts of the Secretariat were filled with visitors during the early days of Eid, distributed among large, medium, and small parks and gardens.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Jundi highlighted that more than 400 park employees, including workers, administrators, technicians, and security personnel, are intensifying their efforts during the Eid holiday. They are continuously providing necessary services to visitors and monitoring safety procedures for entertainment games as per the plan of the General Administration of Parks.

He noted the cooperation and coordination with traffic police and security authorities to enhance readiness, organize traffic on streets surrounding the parks, and prevent traffic jams at entrances. He praised the efforts of security and traffic personnel and all workers involved in organization and arrangement, facilitating the movement of visitors with ease and convenience.

Al-Jundi urged citizens to maintain the facilities and cleanliness of parks, gardens, green spaces, and their aesthetic appearance, encouraging them to place waste in designated areas.

He affirmed that the Capital Secretariat, represented by the General Administration of Parks and Gardens, has been keen to provide essential services to parks and recreational areas. These areas serve as a destination for families to picnic during occasions and holidays, attracting families from residents of the Secretariat and other provinces to enjoy the Eid holiday.
