Sanaa:Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali al-Ra'i extended congratulations to the people of Yemen, revolutionary leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, Supreme Political Council President Mahdi al-Mashat, and council members on the 63rd anniversary of Yemen's 14 October Revolution.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Ra'i described the revolution as a pivotal moment in the fight against foreign domination. He praised the leadership in Sanaa for their support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and commended the Yemeni Armed Forces for their successful military operations, including those aimed at regaining control over Bab al-Mandab and areas in Taiz province.
Al-Ra'i also called for increased unity and vigilance throughout the Arab and Islamic world. He reiterated Parliament's support for the leadership's positions on Palestine and Yemen's sovereignty, while paying tribute to those who have lost their lives in the Yemeni, Palestinian, and Lebanese struggles.
