Hodeida: Authorities and Bajil Agricultural Cooperative inaugurated on Thursday the plowing of 70 hectares of reclaimed land in Bab al-Naqa area. Officials in Bajil district launched the plowing of newly reclaimed farmland covering 70 hectares, in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperative Society and local authorities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project aims to boost agricultural production and strengthen food security. Province undersecretary Amer Muthanna described the initiative as a strategic step to expand cultivated land, while district officials emphasized support for farmers and sustainable development.
The cooperative highlighted ongoing efforts to modernize agriculture and maximize land use, calling on farmers and the community to actively participate in achieving self-sufficiency.
