Hajjah: The Red Crescent team advanced to the second round of the ‘Martyrs on the Road to Al-Quds’ Ramadan football tournament in Hajjah Governorate. The team secured its qualification after defeating the Gaza team 4-0 in the third group stage of the tournament, organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate’s Youth and Sports Office.
According to Yemen News Agency, the match was officiated by referee Akram Hameed with assistants Abdullah Al-Shater, Moein Bakhit, and Khalid Al-Shagdari. Goals were scored by Hashim Dokel, Bashar Al-Harbi, Othman Al-Nashri, and Abu Bakr Sadiq.
Tomorrow, the tournament continues with a Group One match between Al-Qassam and Shabab Tihama teams. In the youth category, the Gaza team defeated Al-Ittihad Al-Mohammedi 4-0 in Group Three. Goals were scored by Hussam Al-Jaboubi, who netted two, along with Hashim Al-Saqqaf and Faisal Al-Haqari.
