Dhamar: The residents of Dhamar Governorate gathered in three squares in the governorate center and Wasab Al-Safil District to commemorate the Mawlid al-Nabawi, in unprecedented crowds. The masses raised slogans of love and loyalty to the Prophet, chanted hymns and prayers, and participated in chanting and poetic segments reflecting the Prophet's status in their hearts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Governor and participating leaders affirmed that the gathering expresses the depth of connection to the Prophet and adherence to his path, embodying the continuation of the approach of the forefathers, the Ansar, in supporting the faith. They also praised the official and popular engagement and the month-long preparations, which included cultural, educational, and women's events, street decorations, and square organization.
This year's celebrations came amid challenges facing the nation, affirming Yemenis' steadfastness in their faith and adherence to the values of the Muhammadan message.
