Residents of Southern, Eastern Governorates Celebrate Mawlid al-Nabawi in Sana’a

Sana'a: Thousands of residents from the southern and eastern governorates gathered in the capital, Sana'a, to participate in a grand celebration of the Mawlid al-Nabawi at Al-Sabeen Square. The event saw a large turnout, reflecting a deep connection to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

According to Yemen News Agency, participants from regions such as Shabwa, Al-Mahra, Aden, Hadramaut, Abyan, Al-Dhale'a, and Socotra arrived early in the morning, carrying banners and flags to express their joy at the birth of Muhammad Al-Mustafa (peace be upon him and his family). The gathering was led by governors, local authority leaders, executive office directors, and social figures, who chanted religious hymns in celebration.

Car convoys adorned with green lights brought celebrants from various governorates to Al-Sabeen Square, creating a festive atmosphere that permeated the streets until the central celebration concluded. Participants expressed their delight at joining the Mawlid al-Nabawi commemoration for the year 1448 AH, emphasizing their love for the Prophet and commitment to honoring his birth.

The residents highlighted the unity among Yemenis, from all regions, and their collective pride in the Prophet. They voiced their rejection of insults to Islamic sanctities and confirmed their readiness to defend their religion and the Prophet with unwavering strength.

Additionally, the residents praised Yemen's leadership and armed forces for supporting the Palestinian people and standing against adversaries. They viewed this stance as a testament to their connection with the Prophet and his teachings, which inspire dignity and honor.

In their declarations, they reaffirmed loyalty to the Prophet and vowed to uphold patience, faith, and sacrifice in defense of their religion and nation. They also expressed unwavering support for the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the political and military leadership's efforts to protect Yemen and reclaim its rights.
