Sana’a Governorate Commemorates Prophet’s Birthday with Cultural Events in Shu’ub District

Sana'a governorate: Two evenings and a series of religious and celebratory events took place in the Shu'ub District of the capital, Sana'a Governorate, in honor of the Prophet's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, in the Al-Nasr and Sa'wan districts, residents of the Ras Al-Sha'ab and Al-Amal Al-Gharbi neighborhoods organized two notable celebratory evenings. These events were attended by Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee of the Capital Governorate Local Council; Mazen Nu'man, Undersecretary of the Governorate; Mohammed Al-Hadrami, Secretary-General of the District Local Council; alongside several mobilization officials, social figures, community leaders, and citizens.

During the gatherings, speakers delivered speeches congratulating the district's residents and all Yemenis on this significant religious occasion. The speakers highlighted the importance of the Prophet's birthday, stressing its role as a spiritual milestone for reinforcing identity and adherence to the noble Prophetic tradition and its universal values.

Attendees were urged by the speakers to actively participate in the central event scheduled for tomorrow at Al-Sabeen Square, as a show of devotion to the Messenger of Guidance and Mercy.

The evenings were marked by poems and cultural performances celebrating the occasion. Concurrently, events were held at the Al-Hafa Mosque, Al-Ihsan Mosque, and Abu Bakr Mosque in various neighborhoods of the district. These gatherings featured religious poetry recitations, readings from the Prophet's biography, and speeches, all underscoring the connection of Yemenis to the final Prophet and their commitment to following his guidance.
