Sa'ada: Traffic Police in Sa'ada governorate, in cooperation with the local branch of the General Authority for Land Transport Regulation, launched on Tuesday a campaign to install new route identification stickers for public transport buses operating from the governorate's central bus stations. The campaign aims to organize transport operations across various routes and areas, reduce traffic congestion and disorder, and improve public transportation services for citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department Lt. Col. Aydha Al-Najjar stated that the designation of official routes and distribution of route stickers is intended to strengthen traffic discipline and improve road safety in main streets and crowded areas. He added that the local transport authority plans to establish model bus stations and designated passenger loading and unloading points in the governorate center and nearby districts as part of a joint technical plan with the traffic police.
Director of the local branch of the General Authority for Land Transport Regulation, Nabil Jameel, mentioned that the campaign would help regulate bus stations, reduce congestion and overcrowding, and facilitate movement for residents across the governorate's districts.
